Queer Vinyl Night — Volume III

As the saying goes, good things come in threes. The third edition of the Queer Vinyl Night series arrives in the intimate setting of Coro, the queer wine and vinyl hi-fi bar in Kreuzberg, which has recently opened its doors to dance-oriented events.

For the first time, the series welcomes a guest selector: close friend Jimmie from Ritmo 3000, bringing along a stash of carefully guarded Italo treasures. The format remains unchanged — vinyl only and free entry.

For this edition, the artwork pays tribute to “Paranoia,” the 1989 12-inch by Belgian project Domination. The track stands as a hallmark of the New Beat movement, known for its slower tempos, heavy basslines, and dark, industrial atmospheres. Its Destruction Mix, later featured on the compilation Belgian New Beat – Volume 2, remains a defining example of that era.

With this reference, the night nods to a lineage of hypnotic and shadowy dance music while continuing to write its own chapter on the dancefloor.
